Tuobodom Society

MR. ALFRED KOFI ANING is 66 years old and has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tuobodom Baccsod Society since inception in 2007. He is a form four school leaver and worked at the Tema Harbour as clearing agent after graduation in 1971. Thereafter, he travelled to West Berlin, Germany, where he worked as a Sprayer until 1984 when he returns home to Ghana. On his return, he went into farming and also established a Hardware store where he works as a Store keeper. Mr. Alfred Kofi Aning is President of the St. Francis of Assisi Parish Church at Tuobodom and currently President of Mary Queen of Peace Church also at Tuobodom. Mr. Aning had previously served on the Techiman North District Assembly as government appointee and also been the Town Council Chairman of Tuobodom.

ASARE SIMON is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tuobodom Baccsod Society. He is a trader and farmer. As a trader he deals in agrochemicals and as a farmer he has cocoa, mango and cashew plantations. He is also into food crops farming. Mr. Asare has previously worked with a timber firm, the Franco Wood Processing Company Limited in Kumasi as a store keeper. He was the Catechist of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at Tuobodom. He has over the past six years also been the President of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

MR. ADJEI FRANCIS holds an M. A. Degree in languages from the Diversity of Winneba. He graduated in 2005 and a currently Secretary to the Board of Directors of the Tuobodom Baccsod Society. Mr. Adjei also teaches English and languages at the Tuobodom Senior High School. He had previously taught at the Dunkwa on Offin R.C.J.S.S. after graduation with a post-secondary Teacher Training Certificate from the Akrokerri Training College in 1994. Mr. Adjei is also Church Secretary of Mary Queen of Peace Church and the Parish secretary of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic church at Tuobodom. He has held this position since 2003.

VERY REV. FATHER PAUL KWAKU AMEYAW is a member and spiritual Director of the Board of Directors of Baccsod, Tuobodom Society. He also serves on the Management Committee of the Society. Very Rev. Father Ameyaw is currently the Vicar General of the Catholic Diocese of Techiman and has since 2008, been the Parish Priest of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church of Tuobodom in 2008, when Techiman became a Diocese, he was appointed Chancellor of the newly created Diocese. Very Rev. Father Ameyaw had part of his education at the Fordham University of New York from 2002 to 2007. On his return to Ghana be was appointed Parish Priest of the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church at Kwasi Bourkrom, in the Jaman District. Earlier from 1995-2000 he served as the Parish Priest of the St. Joseph Catholic Church at Amasu, Dormaa. Very Rev. Fr. Ameyaw was the assistant cathedral administrator of the Christ the King Church, Sunyani from 1993 to 1995.

MR. GORDON ADJEI FRIMPONG has been the Manager of the Tuobodom Baccsod Society over the past three years. He rose through the ranks to get to the Manager’s position.
He started as a Mobile Banker in 2007 and thereafter worked as a Cashier, Agency Officer, Accountant and finally the Manager.
Mr. Frimpong is a product of the Valley View University, Techiman campus from where he got his B. B. A. Accounting Degree.
He attended the Tuobodom Senior High School from 2002 – 2005 for his WASSCE certificate. He began his education at the Tuobodom Preparatory School.
