Atebubu Society

Mr. Joseph Kwame Wajah has been the BOD Chairman of BACCSOD Atebubu Limited from 2017 to date. He had earlier worked as an assistant headmaster of the Amanten Senior High School (2000-2003), Circuit Supervisor of the Ghana Education Service from 2008 to 2015, before retiring in 2019 as Deputy Director of Education in Charge of Planning and Statistics (1998-2003)

He is a staunch member of the Catholic Church. He is the Church President of St. Patrick Catholic Church Atebubu. He has held positions such as; church Secretary, (St. Martin’s Church Amanten 1992-1998), Church President, (St. Martin’s Church Amanten 1998-2003), He is currently the President of the St Patrick Parish Pastoral Council-Atebubu.

He holds a B.ED. Sec/Mgt qualification.

Mr. Djan John is a product of University of Education, Winneba with a Bachelor degree in education.

A professional teacher who rose through the ranks to Deputy Director of Education in charge of Human Resource Management, in September 2012, he retired on the rank of Deputy Director of Education.

Mr. Djan John is a staunch catholic and has held several positions in the Church such as Church Secretary St. Patrick Church Atebubu, (1980-1990), Church President St. Patrick Church Atebubu (1990-1996), Member Diocesan Catholic University fundraising Committee and Laity Council Chairman (St. Patrick Church Atebubu).

In September 2008 he assisted Rev. Fr. Peter Yeboah for the establishment of the Atebubu BACCSOD Limited with eight (8) members. Elections were held in November, 2008 and he was elected as the First BOD Chairman, the position he held till September, 2017 when new election was held and was elected as the Vice Chairman of the Society.

Mr. Emmanuel Gyan is currently the BOD Secretary of Atebubu BACCSOD. He is the former Education Committee Chairman and Loans Committee Chairman. He was one of the team members Rve.Fr. Peter Yeboah started Atebubu BACCSOD with in the year 2008.

He is a staunch Catholic, former church assistant secretary, Welfare Chairman, Youth Chairman, COSRA Chairman and currently a member of the Finance Committee.

He is a staff of Atebubu College of Education. He holds MBA. Accounting and B.Com all from the University of Cape Coast Ghana.

Mad. Elizabeth Seidu, a member of Board of Directors of Atebubu BACCSOD was the Headmistress of St Patrick Junior High School and was nominated as a BOD member in 2014. She retired as Deputy Director of Education. She did not relent in her effort but continued as a strong member of BACCSOD. She has helped the BOD in diverse ways to improve the standard of the Society. She holds Bachelor of Education from University of Education Winneba.

Rev. Fr. Eric Opoku Aning is currently serving on the BOD of BACCSOD Atebubu as the Spiritual Director. He is also the Parish Priest of St. Patrick Catholic Church Atebubu.

Rev. Fr. Eric Opoku Aning holds Master of Philosophy (Study of Religions), Master of Arts (Study of Religions) Bachelor of Arts in Religions and Sociology all from the University of Ghana. He had his Bachelor of Sacred Theology at Pontifical Urbaniana University (Rome) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (UCC)

Rev. Fr. Eric Opoku Aning is a Tutor at Atebubu College of Education and the College Chaplain. He is the Head of the Religious and Moral Education Unit. He is also a member of the New Konkrompe Senior High School Board of Governance.

Mr. Matthew Alignoi has been the Manager of BACCSOD Atebubu Limited for the past Eight (8) years. He had earlier worked with Kintampo Health Research Centre (KHRC) and some Financial Institution in the Bono East and Ashanti Region before joining BACCSOD in August 2016.

Mr. Matthew Alignoi holds Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He had his First Degree in B.A Integrated Business Studies (Accounting Option) from the University for Development Studies (UDS) and a Post Chartered Diploma in Treasury and Financial Risks Management (ICA-G).
