Atibila Alenye is currently the Compliance Officer of the Techiman diocesan BACCSOD limited since 30th June, 2020 after his retirement from the Ghana Audit Service on 12th October, 2017 after forty (40) years of rendering loyal, dedicated and unblemished service to Mother Ghana through the Audit Service.
Prior to his appointment, He was engaged to assist the Internal Audit Unit on voluntary basis by the Union Office, July, 2018
Alenye has severed in several positions in the Ghana Audit Service (GAS) from his date of appointment in October, 1977 as Audit Assistant till he attained the position of Deputy Regional Auditor (Metropolitan Auditor for Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly) (KMA) in October, 2017. Whilst in active service, he Carried out audits of the following:
- Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAS).
- Metropolitan/Municipal/District Assemblies (MMDA) internally generated funds.
- Metropolitan/Municipal/District Assemblies (MMDA) Common Funds and other earmarked funds.
- Pre-University educational institutions and Educational Units accounts.
- Traditional Authorities accounts.
Alenye also served on special Assignments (both Local and international wise notable among them including;
- Audit of Ghana’s Mission in Madriel, Spain (Team Member) September, 2006
- Audit of Ghana High Commission in Freetown, Sierra Leone (Team Leader) June, 2008.
- Audit of Ghana Mission in Brussels, Belgium (Team Leader) October, 2013
- Audit of Ghana Mission in Maloba, Equatorial Guinea (Team Leader) October, 2016
Atibila Alenye holds a BBA (Accounting option) and a Diploma in Public Service Accounting.
