Kenten Society

Mr Alex Adjei is currently the vice chairman of the Kenten BACCSOD and was a founding member of the Nkoranza Baccsod where he served as the vice chairman on the Board from 2007 to 2013 until he was transferred to Holy Family Nursing and Midwifery Training College (HFNMTC), Kenten as the head of finance department. Mr. Adjei joined the Kenten Baccsod Board of Directors in 2023. He is also a member of the finance committee of Holy Family Catholic Church at Kenten.

Mr. Adjei worked as an Accountant of Holy Family Hospital, Berekum until he was transferred to St. Theresa’s Hospital, Nkoranza in 2004 as senior Accountant. He facilitated in reviving St Theresa’s Hospital Credit Union Nkoranza. He served as a financial secretary of the Nkoranza Catholic Men’s Society and also Diocesan Catholic men’s Society between 2010 and 2016. He holds HND in Accountancy and ACCA level II. He retired from active service as Deputy Chief Accountant of HFNMTC-Kenten in 2023 and he is now an entrepreneur

Mr. Sylvester Tabiasi-Naa is the Board secretary of Kenten BACCSOD and was one of the founding Board members of the society. He doubled as the head of the supervisory committee in 2013 before he became the Board secretary in 2017. Mr. Sylvester Tabiasi-Naa currently works in the Pru-East District, Yeji as the District Director of Education. Until his current position, he was the Assistant Headmaster (Administration) of St. Francis Seminary/Senior High School, Buoyem –Techiman in the bono east region. He also served as the Brong Ahafo Regional Secretary of National Graduates Association of Teachers (NAGRAT). He holds several certification including Master of Philosophy, Bachelor degree in educational planning from the University of Cape Coast(UCC), Bachelor of Education degree in social sciences (Economics), Teacher certificate “A” from the Tamale college of Education, “A” level, “O” level from Kanton Secondary School, Tumu and other private certificates

Mr. Bazanaah, a parishner and Financial Secretary of the Parish pastoral council of the Holy Family Catholic church- Kenten Worked with Co-Operatives and the Credit Union System since 1988. Served CUA in various capacities including; Regional Manager- BRONG AHAFO, Administrative Manager, – CUA HEAD OFFICE –ACCRA, Research and Planning Manager, Manager in-charge of Technical services (auditing, training, supervision), Deputy General Manager and General Manager.

Mr. Bazanaah Retired as the General Manager of the Credit Unions Association of Ghana. (CUA) He holds a professional Teacher (cert. A 4year, Ghewaah Training College- Pusiga) 1975, Diploma in Education (Dip Ed UCC)1984,  A graduate B.A (Combined HONS) Geo / Economics – University of Cape-Coast, A professional Accountant (chartered, 2007) and a member of the Institute of chartered accountants (ICA) Ghana.

He currently consults for credit unions in Techiman (Abosomankotere, Teachers, Ebenezer, etc.) he is the Director (owner) of St Trinity Guest House, Director of Business, Accountancy and Training Services (BATS)Consult-Techiman organizing International programs

He’s also the focal person in CUA in executing projects with their International Development Partners such as, The Canadian Co-operative Association (CCA), The World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU), Africa Confederation of Co-operative Savings And Credit Associations (ACCOSCA), German Development co-operation (GIZ) and the Italian Development Cooperation (COSPE)

He has attended Varied and numerous training programs and conferences both abroad and within the country. He’s Happily Married with three children and six grandchildren and enjoys Animal rearing and backyard gardening

He joined BACCSOD in 2017 as a member and was elected to the Board in 2023.

Parish priest, Holy Family Catholic Church-Kenten He became the spiritual Director (Board Member in 2022).

Mrs. Victoria Zeini is the current Board chairperson of the Kenten BACCSOD. She joined the Board on 13th October 2013 as the secretary and later became the Vice Board chairperson in 2017. She later acted as the Board chairperson in 2023 until appointment in 2024.

She is the chairperson of Cathedral Zonal Board of BACCSOD since 2021 and the zonal representative of on BACCSOD Union Board. She serves on various committees including Risk assessment committee and the BACCSOD @ 50 anniversary committee.

Mrs. Victoria Zeini is a seasoned banker in community banking with over 19years of expertise at Nkranza Kwabre Rural Bank limited where She served in various positions including micro credit officer, project officer, branch manageress, a member of management committee, investment and risk adviser.

Mrs. Zeini served as a regional representative of workers’ union of T U C and the field assistant at the ministry of agriculture Wenchi in 2006. She holds Degree in Business Administration, Accounting option from the University of Ghana (Legon), several Diploma certificates from the Institute of Commercial Management (ICM) in Leadership Studies, Customer Service, International Business Environment and Cooperate Policy

She is a product of Wa Secondary School. She is married with a child and a business woman

Mr. Owusu Michael was employed as an accountant of Kenten BACCSOD on 1^st September 2013. He was later promoted to the position of a manager on 31^st December 2018

He served on the Techiman BACCSOD union ltd. Network committee.

He has served in the various positions in agrochemicals companies and has knowledge in the uses of agro chemicals; other farm imputes and crop productions.

He has worked in the various microfinance companies serving various positions.

Mr. Owusu Michael holds Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) accounting option from Valley View University.

He also holds Higher National Diploma (HND) accounting option from Takoradi Technical University

He is a product of Okomfo Anokye Secondary / Senior High School –Ashanti Region.

He is a farmer and married with a child.

Mr. Owusu Michael – Manager, Kenten BACCSOD

Mr. Owusu Michael is a seasoned professional with expertise in accounting, agrochemicals, and microfinance. He joined Kenten BACCSOD as an Accountant on September 1, 2013, and was promoted to Manager on December 31, 2018.

Throughout his career, Mr. Owusu Michael has served in various roles, including:

– Accountant, Kenten BACCSOD (2013-2018)

– Manager, Kenten BACCSOD (2018-present)

– Network Committee Member, Techiman BACCSOD Union Ltd.

– Various positions in agrochemical companies

– Microfinance companies (various positions)
