Brong Ahafo Catholic Co-operative Society for Development (BACCSOD) is a faith based co-operative financial institution which has grown into a robust financial institution, serving the needs of its members and contributing to the regional economy.
To alleviate poverty among members of BACCSOD
To provide a reliable, convenient and efficient co-operative service in finance and agriculture with the aim of addressing poverty and developmental needs.

Pre-amble for the Techiman Diocesan BACCSOD union limited
The Techiman Diocesan BACCSOD union limited was established in the year 2010 and registered on 31st May 2016 as an oversight body to ensure the proper management and administration of all BACCSOD societies in the Techiman diocese.
Our approach
- Enabling societies to organize, expand, strengthen and integrate the BACCSOD as an effective financial institution for the economic development of the people in the Techiman diocese and beyond
- Providing a common diocesan forum for the exchange of ideas, information and services to members
- Promoting membership growth
- Engaging in any lawful activity permitted under the decree and laws of the republic of Ghana
The Union shall:
- Be an oversight body to ensure the proper management and administration of all BACCSOD societies in the Techiman diocese
- Provide direction for BACCSOD societies to ensure their conformity with the decree
- Fashion out prudent and innovative policies and strategies to guide the operations of the societies to ensure growth and expansion
- Ensure adequate capacity building for the staff of BACCSOD and its societies as well as the Board of Directors and Committee Members
- Ensure that the board of directors of member societies function and perform creditably.
