Nkoranza Society

Mr. Ofori Albert has been the chairman of Board of Directors of the Nkoranza BACCSOD Society since 2017. He joined BACCSOD in 2010 as a Loan Committee Member. He is the Nkoranza Zonal Representative on the Union Board and the Vice Chairman of the Union Board of Directors.

He worked as a Teacher (1999-2005) but switched to banking in 2005 and has since been in banking.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Cape Coast;

Mr. Francis Yaw Adjei is the Head of Pharmacy at St. Theresa’s Hospital. He is Chief Pharmacy Technician. He holds BSc. in Public Health Administration (Management) from Catholic University College.

He joined Nkoranza BACCSOD in 2013 as a Loan Committee Member and become Board member in 2016.He has been the Vice Chairman of the Society since 2017.

Foster Agyenim-Boateng had his Secondary and Teacher Training Educations at St. James Minor Seminary, Sunyani and St. Joseph’s Training College, Bechem respectively. He had a Bachelor of Education in English and a Master of Arts in English Education from the University of Education, Winneba in 2004 and 2014 respectively. He has taught English Language in the Secondary School for eighteen years.

From 2010 to 2015, he was a Supervisory Committee member for BACCSOD, Akrofrom Society and from 2016 to 2019 he became a Supervisory Committee chairman for BACCSOD, Nkoranza and was later made an interim Board Secretary from 2010 to 2021 for the Nkoranza Society. He is currently the Board Secretary for the Nkoranza Society and the Assistant Headmaster of Techiman Senior High School.

Mr.Osei Patrick Kwadwo is a Banker and Native of Nkoranza in the Bono East Region.

He holds MBA in Finance, Degree in Accounting and Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies with about 22 years Banking Experience.

Currently, he is a Manager in Kumawuman Rural Bank Plc. He is a proud Board Member of BACCSOD Nkoranza Society. He is one of the members who initiated Nkoranza BACCSOD in 2007.

Nana Agyare Isaac had his secondary education at Nkoranza Sec-Tech School and completed in the year 1982. He later went to Berekum Training College and passed out in the year 1984 as a trained teacher.

He had his first posting at Sarpomaa L /A Middle School in 1984. He was transferred to Bonte -Bomiri JSS in 1987 as headmaster (J), then transferred to Kranka LA JSS as a teacher in 1990. He went to Kutabom LA JSS on release.

He went on transfer to Tanoso LA JSS as a teacher in 1992, then later came to Nkoranza St Theresa Primary School in 2001 to 2008.

NANA became the chairman at Nkoranza Area Teachers Credit Union for eight years. He joined BACCSOD, Nkoranza society and served as educational committee member from 2015.

He has retired from active service in 2018 on the rank of Principal Superintendent and has served as a Board Member of BACCSOD, Nkoranza society since 2017.

Abobo Emerita had her secondary education at St.Francis of Assisi, Jirapa in the Upper West Region. She completed Tamale Training College in the Northern Region and Obtained a Cert A in 1997.

She has an HND in Marketing from Sunyani Polytechnic and Degree in Management Studies from University of Cape Coast in 2004, 2012 respectively. She has taught for Twenty –Seven Years at the Basic Level. She is currently the Headmistress of Nkoranza St. Theresa’s R/C Primary School.

She has served in a number of committees in some Credit Unions; NATCU, ST. Theresa’s and now BACCSOD. She joined BACCSOD, Nkoranza Society as a Supervisory Committee member and now she is a Board Member in the same Society.

Very Rev. Fr. Dr. Andrew Kwame Takyia had his Secondary education in St. James Minor Seminary in Sunyani; Sixth Form at St. Hubert’s Minor Seminary in Kumasi; Philosophy and Theology in St. Peter’s Regional Seminary in Cape Coast; Higher Diploma in Maynooth University in Dublin, Ireland; Master’s Degree in Heathrop College, University of London in the United Kingdom and Doctorate in the University of Vienna in Austria.

As a Catholic Priest, he has served in many capacities in many countries across the world and currently, he is the Parish Priest and Dean of Nkoranza. He served on the Board of Cathedral BACCSOD from 2008 to 2012.Currently he is the Spiritual Director of the Nkoranza BACCSOD Society.

Mr.Sarfo Paul had his Secondary Education in Nkoranza Secondary – Technical School, and completed in the year 1997.He had Diploma in Business Studies (DBS-Accounting) from Sunyani Polytechnic in 2004. He obtained Diploma in Commerce and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from University of Cape Coast in 2011 and 2013 respectively. He holds Master in Business Administration –Finance (MBA-Finance) from University of Cape Coast in 2017. He has Twenty Years (20) banking experience.

Mr. Sarfo joined Nkoranza BACCSOD Society in July 2009 as an Accountant and become Operations Manager in 2012 and in 2014 he was made a Substantive Manager of the Society. Currently, he is the Manager for the Nkoranza Society and has been an Acting Manager for Bonsu BACCSOD Study Group since 2016.
