The Current Account is a form of account which entitles the owner to several services from BACCSOD. It is a non-interest-bearing account in which the account holder can personally make deposits and withdrawals or through third-parties. BACCSOD current account provide security for your funds. It can be an individual, Joint, Business, Group, an Association, an NGO Account, among others.

- Current account holders are required to acquire shares to qualify for membership
- Account holders can access loans
- Account holders can use their accounts to guarantee loans for others
- The account attracts COT on its operations
- Account holders can withdraw from the account as many times as the member wishes

Account Opening Requirements
- Ghana Card (National Identify Card)
- Residential utility bill (not more than 3 months)
- 2 passport size photographs
- GPS address / residential address
- Resident permit (for foreign nationals)
- Resolution from the Board (for corporate current account)
- Business registration documents (for corporate current account)
- Acquisition of minimum shares
- Payment of account entrance fees
- The individual must be of age (18years) and sound mind
- Names and details of beneficiaries
